_Gobierno iniciará una jornada especial de reconstrucción que abarca un total 8,300 hogares, de los cuales 5,500 corresponden a la zona este y 2,800 al nordeste._
Las Galeras.– El presidente Luis Abinader continuó este jueves su recorrido por las provincias afectadas por el huracán Fiona y llegó hasta el municipio Las Galeras, provincia Samaná, donde se reunió con agricultores y autoridades locales, a quienes aseguró que ninguna familia que haya sido afectada se quedará sin recibir la mano amiga del Gobierno.  
El mandatario manifestó que este es un tiempo de nación, un tiempo de país y es en este momento donde deben trabajar todos juntos.
“Que no se quede una vivienda sin restaurar. Y no se va a quedar una sola vivienda sin restaurar, eso yo se lo garantizo”, expresó.
El jefe de Estado anunció que depositó RD$2 millones de pesos al ayuntamiento de Las Galeras para ayudas de los afectados y personal especial para los casos y les expresó a los residentes tener paciencia para que llegue la ayuda necesaria.
Indicó que en el fin de semana iniciarán una jornada especial de reconstrucción, que abarque cada rincón de la provincia, con todos los funcionarios y el personal distribuido en cada lugar para determinar y asegurar que nadie se quede fuera.
Expuso que la jornada abarca un total 8,300 hogares, de estos, 5,500 corresponden a la zona este y 2,800 al nordeste y se hará de forma tripartita donde trabajarán los ayuntamientos con su personal que dirijan la parte técnica, el Ministerio de Vivienda y Edificaciones u otra instituciones del Gobierno y las Juntas de Vecinos. 
Explicó que para la realización del trabajo con los materiales que van a llegar, como madera, clavos y zinc se ha hecho un protocolo que involucra la participación del ayuntamiento, la sociedad civil, juntas de vecinos, los mismos afectados y personal del Gobierno.
*Restablecimiento total de la energía en unos dos días* 
El gobernante señaló que hasta ahora se ha logrado restablecer una gran parte de la electricidad y que esperan que en unos dos días se termine en su totalidad.
Destacó la presencia del director del INAPA, Wellington Arnaud, quien dijo está presente para llevar soluciones y asegurar la restauración de todo lo relacionado con el tema del agua.
Resaltó, además la ayuda que ofrecido en estos momentos la comunidad dominicana-francesa y agregó que la Agencia Francesa de Desarrollo es la que más colabora con la República Dominicana.
*Medidas de apoyo al sector agrícola* 
En cuanto al sector agrícola, Abinader informó que ya están diez técnicos trabajando en el levantamiento de los afectados y se ha determinado reestructurar el pago de los préstamos vigentes con el Banco Agrícola con hasta 7 años de plazo y cero interés.  
Asimismo, facilitar financiamiento a todos los productores afectados para restablecer sus cultivos a tasa cero y a los productores con financiamiento de la banca comercial que así lo deseen que lo traspasen al Banco Agrícola para que también tengan el beneficio de tasa cero.
En el caso de los productores con préstamos informales, comunicó, se ha instruido al Banco Agrícola para la flexibilización de las condiciones, de manera que le puedan pagar a los prestamistas y recibir el apoyo financiero que necesitan para restablecer sus cultivos y crianzas.
“Todo esto lo vamos a ir haciendo en los próximos días, en las próximas semanas. Yo lo que quiero decirles es que está toda la disposición, vamos a buscar los recursos donde sea para nosotros atenderlos, pero vamos a hacerlo con paciencia, hace apenas unos dos días que pasó el huracán y ya estamos resolviendo, lo importante es que sepan que ya está todo de camino”, apuntó.   
En lo referente al Clúster de Samaná, dijo que ha conversado con Seguros Banreservas y la Superintendencia de Seguros para que den un avance que permita el inicio de la restauración de los hoteles y restaurantes y que de manera concomitante realicen las evaluaciones de lugar.
*Restablecimiento de empleos*
«Cuando pienso restaurar los hoteles, es en restablecer los empleos de la gente. No es solamente los hoteles, son los taxistas, que son los que hacen tours y eso es lo que a mi me preocupa que esas personas puedan tener empleos y normalizar sus vidas lo antes posible», sostuvo el mandatario.
Enfatizó que la comunidad tendrá las ayudas del Plan Social en sus diferentes ramificaciones e insistió en trabajar en un sentido de urgencia de hacer las cosas lo antes posible. 
El mandatario indicó que se iniciarán los trabajos de reconstrucción de las casas que estén en peores condiciones y que primero se van a atender las urgencias y luego los demás problemas causados por el fenómeno atmosférico.
«Nosotros los dominicanos hemos tenido muchas crisis y hemos salidos más fuertes y vamos a salir más fuertes de está crisis también», agregó.
*Visita centro de acopio*
Posteriormente el jefe de Estado visitó la Fortaleza Santa Bárbara donde se instaló un centro de acopio para recibir y despachar alimentos, agua, zinc, madera, colchones y otros enseres del hogar en favor de los afectados por el huracán. 
Tambien visitó los barrios El Francés y Tesón para seguir llevando soluciones a todos los afectados, principalmente en cuanto a la reparación y reconstrucción de viviendas. 
“Cuenten con nosotros. Si falta una sola casa, nosotros vamos a mandar materiales para esa sola casa, no se va a quedar nadie”.
Acompañaron al presidente Abinader, el ministro de Interior y Policía, Jesús-Chu-Vásquez; el Senador por la Provincia de Samaná, Pedro Catrain; el director de INAPA, Wellington Arnaud; la Gobernadora de la provincia de Samaná, Teodora Mullix Geraldino.
También, el viceministro para Asuntos Navales y Costeros del Ministerio de Defensa, el vicealmirante Ramón Gustavo Betances Hernández, ARD y el Gerente General de EdeNorte, Andrés Cueto.
