Fueron juramentados los diputados elegidos por el Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM) para llenar las vacantes dejadas por legisladores de esta organización política.
Este martes se realizó el acto de juramentación de los miembros escogidos y aprobados por el pleno de la Cámara Baja el pasado miércoles, tras presentarse las ternas correspondientes, para llenar las vacantes de tres diputados que renunciaron a sus curules del PRM.
Luis Gómez, Dulce Quiñones y Dorina Rodríguez, fueron los diputados juramentados por el presidente de la cámara, Alfredo Pacheco, para este período legislativo.
Luis Gómez Benzo, fue escogido por el pleno de la Cámara de Diputados como el diputado que pasa a sustituir a Nelson Arroyo, quien renunció a la curul de San Pedro de Macorís por el PRM, al ser designado como director del Instituto Dominicano de las Telecomunicaciones (Indotel).
En tanto, la diputada Dulce Mercedes Quiñonez, reemplaza a la Josefa Castillo, quien fue designada superintendente de Seguros.
Mientras que Yajaira Rodríguez Salazar sustituye a Olmedo Caba Romano, de la provincia Duarte, quien fue nombrado director en el Instituto Nacional de Recursos Hidráulicos (Indrhi)
A petición del vocero de los diputados del PRM, Julito Fulcar, fue propuesto la pasada semana dejar para una próxima sesión las ternas de la diputada Zaida Polanco.
El presidente de la Cámara de Diputados, Alfredo Pacheco, expresó que fue dejada sobre la mesa conocer la terna para llenar la vacante dejada por la diputada electa Zaida Polanco, quien falleció luego de pasadas las elecciones por Covid-19.
