Santo Domingo.- Entre líderes comunitarios y residentes del INVI, la mañana de este viernes se desarrolló un encuentro de “La Alcaldía Llega a Ti” en dicho sector, donde la alcaldesa Carolina Mejía y el equipo directivo del cabildo del Distrito Nacional estuvieron escuchando a la comunidad y presentando soluciones a las necesidades que presentan.
Esta iniciativa inició el pasado mes de junio con la finalidad de acercar la ADN a los sectores, trabajar de manera conjunta con el liderazgo comunitario y de esa forma crear soluciones que mejoren la calidad de vida de los residentes.
En ese sentido, la titular del cabildo conversó con los presentes acerca de los requerimientos identificados, además, informó acerca de las intervenciones que estarán realizando como la terminación del Paseo del INVI, que facilitará el desplazamiento y esparcimiento de los residentes.
Asimismo, la construcción de aceras, contenes y badenes en distintos puntos del sector como las calles Perimetral Este, Perimetral Oeste, Marginal Norte y Marginal Sur. La ADN iniciará los trabajos para el mejoramiento de la iluminación con la instalación de postes y lámparas; la limpieza de imbornales y filtrantes.
Por otro lado, el cabildo del Distrito Nacional informa que como parte de las intervenciones que abarca este programa de “La Alcaldía Llega a Ti” en el INVI se realizará el remozamiento del Parque Altos del Pedregal, con una nueva cancha de baloncesto, gazebo y colocación de juegos infantiles. También, la recuperación de espacios con la eliminación de vertederos improvisados que ya ha comenzado en la Avenida Independencia.
“Nosotros somos una institución de servicio. Estamos para atender las necesidades de los ciudadanos, de los capitaleños, para escucharlos y atenderlos con amor, y lo mejor es que lo hacemos en equipo y con el corazón”, resaltó la alcaldesa Carolina Mejía.
Valoró el trabajo realizado desde el liderazgo comunitario en favor de la comunidad para la resolución de las problemáticas que les afectan, e invitó a los residentes a continuar trabajando de la mano con el cabildo en procura de seguir mejorando la convivencia en el sector.
De igual forma, Mejía manifestó que para dar respuesta a necesidades puntuales, desde ADN se estará canalizando con las instituciones correspondientes con el fin de gestionar las soluciones a la comunidad.
Con este encuentro en el INVI suman cinco los sectores que han sido impactados con este programa “La Alcaldía Llega a Ti”, logrando implementar obras e intervenciones en beneficio de Los Peralejos, Mata Hambre, Cristo Rey y Manganagua.
