Las nuevas funcionalidades facilitan la salud financiera de los clientes

Santo Domingo, D.N. – Los usuarios de la App Popular, la aplicación financiera del Banco Popular Dominicano, cuentan con la posibilidad de consolidar préstamos y acordar pagos de tarjetas de crédito directamente desde su celular, ahorrándose la visita a una sucursal, como parte de la serie de nuevas facilidades de autogestión que la entidad financiera ha dispuesto para los clientes.

Estos desarrollos, pioneros en el país y en Latinoamérica, permiten al usuario de la App Popular establecer cuotas y plazos más convenientes para pagar sus tarjetas de crédito, consolidar o unificar deudas de préstamos o tarjetas, o calendarizar las promesas de pago para las facilidades de crédito que se encuentren en atraso, sin intervención del centro de llamadas o una oficina bancaria.

Pagos automáticos y recordatorios

Otra de las mejoras disponibles en la App Popular es la posibilidad de programar de manera automática los pagos a las tarjetas de crédito, ya sea al corte o a la fecha de vencimiento, eliminando así la posibilidad de atraso. Otra novedad es el establecimiento de recordatorios de pago, a través de notificaciones que envía la aplicación móvil al usuario dos días antes de la fecha de vencimiento.

En adición, la App Popular, en su menú de funciones, cuenta con una opción fija desde la cual los clientes pueden visualizar la calculadora de deudas pendientes de sus productos de crédito, dar seguimiento al estatus de sus solicitudes de reajuste o facilidad de pago, entre otras.

Mejoras para la salud financiera

Estas iniciativas refuerzan el liderazgo digital del Banco Popular y su compromiso con una innovación que facilita los procesos a su clientela, respondiendo a sus necesidades en la gestión de sus productos y de su salud financiera.

“Para el Popular es una prioridad evolucionar en favor de lo que esperan nuestros clientes y esto se demuestra cuando integramos funcionalidades como estas, que optimizan y agilizan sus experiencias en nuestra plataforma, digitalizando los procesos de pago de forma integral”, indicó el señor Isael Peña, vicepresidente del Área de Banca Digital.

Más de 30 soluciones nuevas en dos años

En los últimos dos años, la aplicación móvil del Popular ha presentado más de 30 funcionalidades integradas que facilitan las distintas operaciones bancarias de los clientes. Recientemente, resultó premiada por la revista financiera Global Finance por su solución para autogestionar las reclamaciones, considerándola una “innovación sobresaliente en experiencia de usuario» y una de las primeras de este tipo en América Latina.

En la actualidad, la App Popular supera el millón de clientes afiliados, registrando un promedio mensual de más de 4 millones de transacciones, lo cual la convierte en uno de los principales canales digitales del Popular. Del 100% de las transacciones digitales efectuadas a través de Internet Banking y la App Popular, el 70% se efectúan mediante la aplicación móvil de la entidad bancaria, lo que evidencia la buena acogida de los clientes que gestionan desde el celular la mayoría de sus procesos bancarios.
