El artículo establece que el “Comité Político es el organismo ejecutivo del Comité Central y estará integrado por el Presidente del Partido, el Secretario General más cuarenta y tres (43) miembros plenos”.
En la actualidad el Comité Político posee 35 miembros, sumados el presidente del partido y el secretario general.
