Presidente Luis Abinader aprueba en gabinete de turismo Protocolo para el manejo de la Aviación Privada No Comercial en el país

 Santo Domingo. – El presidente de la república, Luis Abinader encabezó este jueves la reunión del gabinete de turismo, donde dejó aprobado, para su aplicación, el Protocolo para el Manejo de la Aviación Privada No Comercial.

En la reunión, realizada en el salón Los Trinitarios del Palacio Nacional, el director ejecutivo del Departamento Aeroportuario, Víctor Pichardo, junto al Ministro de Turismo, David Collado, presentaron al mandatario y a los demás integrantes del gabinete, el documento que establece en lo adelante los lineamientos para brindar seguridad, eficiencia, agilidad y transparencia, entre otras facilidades, a todas las aeronaves de la aviación privada no comercial.

“Esto es un esfuerzo en conjunto entre todas las agencias del sector, el gobierno central, los operadores aeroportuarios y los aeroclubes, para dar cumplimiento a un mandato del presidente Luis Abinader, de poner a la vanguardia el Sistema Aeroportuario Nacional, como uno de los principales ejes de la industria turística nacional”, indicó Pichardo.

Este manual de procedimientos, inexistente hasta el momento, renovará todo el funcionamiento de los servicios aeroportuarios internacionales dominicanos, en términos aduanales, migratorios y cargos establecidos por facilidades que se ofrecen, con el objetivo de incrementar la competitividad del sector y adaptarlo a las nuevas realidades, así como impactar de forma positiva, la industria turística.

Así mismo, la iniciativa abarca de manera integral los aeropuertos domésticos, en cuanto a la facilitación para la recepción, despacho, gestión de información y asistencia a pilotos y pasajeros de aeronaves privadas, como forma lograr las óptimas condiciones para atraer las más de 40 mil aeronaves privadas que vuelan al Caribe, pero no llegan a la República Dominicana.

Además del DA, entre las instituciones firmantes de este protocolo está el Ministerio de Turismo, Instituto Dominicano de Aviación Civil, Cuerpo Especializado de la Seguridad y de la Aviación Civil, Dirección General de Aduanas, Dirección General de Migración.

Así mismo, la Fuerza Aérea Dominicana, Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas; los aeropuertos de Punta Cana, Cibao, Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (AERODOM) y los aeroclubes; Quisqueya y Dominicano 74.
