Presidente Abinader inaugura escuela básica en La Barranquita

Santiago–. El presidente Luis Abinader, acompañado del ministro de Obras Públicas, Deligne Ascención, dejó inaugurada en la comunidad de La Barranquita en esta provincia, la escuela básica Isabel Rosalva Torres, construida con una inversión superior a los 130 millones de pesos.

El mandatario afirmó, que el nuevo modelo de escuela que va a tener la República Dominicana cumplirá la máxima que siempre lo han escuchado decir: tendremos la mejor educación posible y en las mejores instalaciones.

«Invertir en educación es la inversión más productiva que como sociedad podemos hacer en todos los niveles», enfatizó el jefe de Estado.

De su lado, el ministro de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones, Deligne Ascención, resaltó que obras como esta representan una de las mejores inversiones de infraestructura que gobierno alguno pueda realizar, ya que impacta la transformación social y formación de ciudadanos.

«Señor presidente, para nosotros constituye desde el Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones, una alta satisfacción el haber acompañado en este proceso de construcción y terminación de este importante plantel que hoy se la entrega a la comunidad educativa y a toda la comunidad de la barranquita», manifestó Ascención.

El nuevo centro educativo beneficiará a más de 800 alumnos y cuenta con 28 aulas, sala de enfermería, salones multiusos, canchas deportivas y espacios verdes, entre otras áreas.
