Santo Domingo–. El Diputado Omar Fernández Domínguez solicitó al Ministro de Salud Pública, detalles sobre el protocolo de para vacunación masiva contra el Covid-19 que se ejecutará en los próximos meses.
Mediante misiva al Dr. Antonio Plutarco Arias, el legislador que representa a la circunscripción número uno del Distrito Nacional requirió “recibir información más detallada con relación al suministro de las vacunas contratadas por el Poder Ejecutivo y aprobadas por esta Cámara de Diputados”.
“Estoy en entera disposición de dar apoyo logístico junto con las organizaciones sociales, juntas de vecino y demás entidades de mi comunidad, una vez inicie la jornada de vacunación”, señaló Omar Fernández.
Asimismo, el legislador de la Fuerza del Pueblo solicitó al Gobierno Central, a través del Ministerio de Salud que presente la cantidad de vacunas que estarían llegando a la República Dominicana; cuáles son las facilidades donde se almacenarán las mismas y si al momento cuentan con los equipos refrigerados especializados que se requieren para transportar las vacunas de manera segura.
“¿Cuál será el orden dispuesto en el plan de vacunación en que la población recibirá esas dosis contra el Covid-19? ¿Cuál es el calendario estimado para el proceso de vacunación? Esas son preguntas básicas para orientar y preparar a la ciudadanía”, sostuvo el Diputado Omar Fernández.
Ante la incertidumbre de buena parte de la población de cómo sería el proceso de inmunización al Covid-19 mediante la inoculación de anticuerpos, el legislador entiende que es fundamental transparentar y orientar a la población para estimular la confianza a la posible cura del virus que afecta al mundo desde finales de 2019.
“Ante una situación de crisis como lo es la actual pandemia, resulta fundamental que el pueblo tenga confianza en la forma en que el gobierno estará administrando el proceso de vacunación. En eso se están cifrando grandes esperanzas a nivel mundial y nuestro país no es la excepción. Confío que el gobierno responderá a nuestra solicitud con la premura que la emergencia requiere”, concluyó expresando Omar Fernández.
