“Yo he visto que en nombre de una cosa que le llamaron revolución educativa se hizo lo que se está viendo ahora, que el covid ha desnudado, como miles de planteles en este país no tienen agua, no tienen energía eléctrica, ni internet. Nos encontramos que casi la mitad de la planta docente del país, no eran maestros nombrados, sino contratados, que no tienen seguridad social”, dice en entrevista especial para multimedios del Caribe.
Añade que “a nombre de la revolución educativa se hicieron tantas cosas que convirtieron el 4 por ciento en dos operaciones de negocios: uno de bienes raíces y otro de alimentación escolar”.
Asegura que en el país hay escuelas levantadas en comunidades no habitadas por personas, “porque había que comprarle un solar a alguien”. Deplora, además, que existan recintos escolares a medio hacer, porque su construcción se abandonó sin ninguna explicación.
El funcionario afirma que este tipo de acciones están documentadas para darlas a conocer a la población en el momento oportuno. “No hemos querido dedicar nuestras energías y tiempo simplemente en hacer la crítica de lo que pasó, pero no es porque no sabemos o no tenemos documentado todo lo que pasó”, sostiene.
