Para este fin el centro ha sido habilitado con diversas actividades y talleres, como producción agrícola e industrial, producción de peces y miel, programas de reciclaje, además de centros de educación para los niveles de básica, media y técnica.
Asimismo, el recinto contará con un dispensario médico para atender a los privados de libertad, y en caso de que las instalaciones no sean suficientes para atender las necesidades del paciente, una ambulancia para que pueda ser trasladado a un centro médico.
Similarmente dispondrán de un espacio materno-infantil, primero de su clase en prisiones del país según el procurador, donde las madres podrán cuidar a su bebé hasta por un año de manera adecuada.
Otro de las novedades de este centro correccional es la instalación de varias áreas de recreación deportiva al aire libre como campos de sóftbol, canchas de baloncesto y dos gimnasios.
“En esta primera fase estamos listos para recibir paulatinamente, porque esto lleva un proceso de inserción, a todos los internos de la antigua Victoria ya que estamos entregando todos los edificios de alojamiento y sus facilidades básicas”, manifestó Rodríguez durante su discurso.
