Las Águilas Cibaeñas, equipo que terminó en el segundo lugar por ganar una de las dos series particulares entre los equipos implicados en el triple empate, enfrentará en la serie semifinal a los Toros del Este, el equipo al que le ganó la serie particular.
Estrellas Orientales cayó ante los eliminados Tigres del Licey para terminar la serie regular con marca de 15-15, lo que les deja en cuarto lugar y con una diferencia de apenas 1.0 juego sobre los Leones del Escogido, el quinto lugar, por lo que estos dos equipos jugarán una miniserie al mejor de tres a partir del 27 de diciembre.
