Juramentan a Alberto Torres como nuevo superintendente de Pensiones

Santo Domingo. El Ministro de Trabajo y presidente del Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Social (CNSS), Luis Miguel De Camps García, juramentó al nuevo superintendente de Pensiones del Sistema Dominicano de Seguridad Social, Francisco Alberto Torres Díaz, dando cumplimiento al Decreto 700-22 del Poder Ejecutivo. 

Se recuerda que el Consejo Nacional de la Seguridad Social emitió la resolución N.o 558-01, mediante la cual conformó una terna para elegir al nuevo incumbente.

  

Al dirigirse específicamente al nuevo superintendente de Pensiones, el Ministro De Camps le expresó: “las reformas que tenemos que cometer son fundamentadas en el diálogo social, que son probablemente una de las herramientas más importantes para garantizar la paz social”.

“Todos los actores del Sistema Dominicano de Seguridad Social tienen legitimidad en sus propuestas, en sus deseos, en sus aspiraciones y el elemento fundamental y central desde el punto de vista del sector gubernamental es justamente el ciudadano, el afiliado, la persona, el dominicano, la dominicana. En esa dirección es que se han ido encaminando todas las acciones del Gobierno, incluyendo también las del Ministerio de Trabajo, a través de los diálogos tripartitos que hemos podido materializar avances”, puntualizó De Camps.

De su lado, el señor Francisco Alberto Torres en su discurso agradeció al Presidente Luis Abinader su designación, de igual forma a los miembros del Consejo Nacional de la Seguridad Social (CNSS) por haberlo tomado en cuenta.

“Asumo esta responsabilidad de regular el sistema de pensiones de la República Dominicana con el compromiso de ejercer mis funciones como servidor público basado en los criterios de transparencia y eficiencia que han marcado la presente administración gubernamental”, expresó Torres Díaz. 

Previo a su designación como superintendente de Pensiones, Francisco Alberto Torres Díaz se desempeñaba como subdirector general de la Dirección General de Impuestos Internos. Es licenciado en Economía y Administración de Empresas con concentración en Finanzas y Comercio Internacional, y fue jefe de la División de Modelos Macroeconómicos del Banco Central de la República Dominicana.

El acto de juramentación se realizó en el salón Yolanda Guzmán del Ministerio de Trabajo y contó con la asistencia del Dr. Daniel Rivera, Ministro de Salud; Juan Antonio Estévez, viceministro de Seguridad Social y Riesgos; Ramón Contreras, saliente superintendente de Pensiones; Oliver Carreño, consultor jurídico del Ministerio de Trabajo; Luis Valdez Veras, director general de Impuestos Internos; los representantes de los trabajadores, Pepe Abreu, Jacobo Ramos y Gabriel del Río y otros importantes funcionarios del área de la Seguridad Social.
