Julito Fulcar califica de “trascendental” decisión de poner fin al peaje sombra

Santo Domingo.-* El vocero del bloque de diputados del Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM), en la Cámara de Diputados, Julito Fulcar, valoró como un paso trascendental el anuncio del presidente Luis Abinader, de poner fin al peaje sombra de la autopista de Samaná.

Fulcar indicó que con esta decisión el presidente dominicano cumple con su promesa cuando en al juramentarse en agosto de 2020 en el Congreso Nacional se comprometió “a trabajar  en la rescisión de ese contrato y en el día de ayer se concretó”
 
Sostuvo que los aproximadamente mil 500 millones de dólares, que con la terminación del contrato se estará ahorrando el Estado Dominicano podrán ser aprovechados e invertidos en otras áreas neurálgicas en beneficio de todos los dominicanos y dominicanas.
 
El presidente Luis Abinader anunció la noche de este jueves que la administración del peaje que tenía el consorcio hasta el año 2038, ahora pasará a manos del fideicomiso estatal RDVial y que el Estado pagará la suma de 410 millones de dólares para finalizar el contrato de concesión.
