Julio César Castaños Guzmán presidente de La Junta Central Electoral (JCE), informó que el viernes pasado inició el proceso de clonado de los nueve mil equipos que serán entregados en calidad de donación al Ministerio de Educación de República Dominicana (Minerd), para ser utilizados en el programa de educación a distancia y virtual a desarrollar.
Johnny Rivera, director de Informática, explicó que este proceso inició ayer con la clonado de 1,500 laptops Notebook HP y que dicho proceso consiste en copiar en los respectivos equipos una serie de programas educativos proporcionados por el Minerd, precisó una nota de prensa.
Informó que la institución espera terminar para principios de la semana próxima el clonado del restante de equipos, a los fines de iniciar con la segunda la fase de personalización y control de calidad de los mismos con la participación de un personal del Minerd
