INTRANT traslada servicios de licencias en La Vega a nuevo local

Los servicios de carné de aprendizaje, emisión y renovación de licencias en sus distintas categorías ahora tienen como domicilio la calle Concepción Taveras No. 1 en el sector Villa Rosa.

La Vega, 30 de agosto 2021.- El Instituto Nacional de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre (INTRANT), dejó hoy habilitado un nuevo local desde el cual, a partir de la fecha, se continuarán ofreciendo los servicios de licencias de conducir en la provincia La Vega, que funcionaban en otro domicilio.

En las nuevas instalaciones ubicadas en la calle Concepción Taveras número 1 del sector Villa Rosa, el Intrant continuará con los servicios de emisión, renovación y duplicados de licencias en las distintas categorías, además del carné de aprendizaje que es el primer documento requerido para optar por una licencia.

Al encabezar el acto de apertura de las nuevas oficinas de licencias en la referida provincia, el director ejecutivo, Rafael Arias, dijo que” con este nuevo local lo que buscamos es que los ciudadanos tengan la facilidad de venir a solicitar los servicios para obtener su licencia de conformidad a lo que establece la Ley 63-17 de Movilidad, Transporte Terrestre, Tránsito y Seguridad Vial”.

Asimismo, Arias explicó que esta nueva oficina cuenta con el componente tecnológico de simuladores de manejo que permite la evaluación técnica de los candidatos a obtener una licencia de conducir, buscando fortalecer en ellos la conciencia sobre los aspectos básicos de la seguridad vial para evitar accidentes.

“Debo resaltar que, en esta ocasión, no se trata de la inauguración de una nueva oficina de licencias, sino del traslado a un nuevo local, que nos permitirá continuar con los servicios con mayor eficiencia”, aclaró Rafael Arias.

Se recuerda que como parte de la iniciativa que desarrolla Rafael Arias para acercar los servicios del Intrant a la ciudadanía, recientemente fueron aperturadas oficinas de esa entidad en Nueva York para la diáspora dominicana, en Elías Piña y en Neiba.

La Ley 63-17 de Movilidad, Transporte Terrestre, Tránsito y Seguridad Vial de la República Dominicana, le otorga al INTRANT la atribución de regular, registrar y otorgar licencias y permisos a las personas y entidades con la necesidad de realizar transporte privado, de pasajeros y de mercancías por la vía terrestre.
