Gobierno socializa obras y escucha inquietudes munícipes de La Altagracia

Higuey, La Altagracia. El gobierno socializó este domingo con organizaciones sociales, juntas de vecinos y otras fuerzas vivas de la provincia La Altagracia, las diferentes obras de infraestructuras concluidas y las que están en proceso de ejecución, así como escuchar de primera mano las inquietudes y necesidades de la comunidad.

El evento se desarrolló en el marco del programa el “Gobierno en las Provincias”, dispuesto por el presidente Luis Abinader, encabezado  en esta provincia por Víctor Pichardo, director del Departamento Aeroportuario (DA), con una participación como invitado especial de José Rijo Presbot, titular de la Dirección General de Presupuesto.

“Somos un gobierno que da la cara y así lo ha demostrado nuestro presidente Luis Abinader, cuya mayor preocupación es escuchar a la gente y que conozcan qué estamos haciendo y hacia donde nos encaminamos, en beneficio de toda la población”, indicó Pichardo.

Durante la intervención de las autoridades, moderada por Pichardo, se citaron la conclusión de obras como los caminos vecinales Jobo Dulce y Mamey-La Yaya, así como la perforación y aforación de los pozos de los acueductos Anamuya. También se anunció el primer palazo este lunes para la construcción del Muelle Pesquero en Boca de Yuma, y los trabajos para construir la cárcel preventiva de Higuey, que ya está diseñada.

Rijo Presbot  resaltó en su presentación el manejo del presupuesto nacional que ha tenido el gobierno en tiempos de pandemia que, asegura, ha merecido que el país haya sido reconocido por organismos internacionales como la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS), Organización Mundial del Turismo (OMT) y otras.

Asimismo, puntualizó que en la actualidad la guerra en Ucrania ha hecho dar un giro en las políticas del gobierno, apuntando su interés en el bienestar de la gente, con iniciativas como la incorporación de miles de familias a los programas sociales, además del plan para llevar a 130 mil las raciones que se distribuyen en los Comedores Económicas.

Las intervenciones se realizaron de manera dinámica, donde cada responsable provincial presentó los avances de la gestión en materia de obras públicas, educación, salud, agropecuaria, vivienda, seguro de salud, sistema energético, agua potable, turismo, Inespre y otras.

Luego de la exposición de las obras de gobierno, representantes del sector empresarial, juntas de vecinos y de la sociedad en general, ofrecieron sus puntos de vistas sobre las iniciativas de esta gestión y presentaron la necesidad de obras para el desarrollo del municipio.

Rafael Martínez, representante del sector empresarial de la provincia, reconoció los avances en las ejecutorias del gobierno, como es el caso del Hospital de Verón, en Punta Cana, y solicitó otras como la Circunvalación, reforestación, la construcción de un puerto y el levantamiento de la cárcel preventiva de Higuey.

Mientras que, el representante de la Federación de Asociación de Juntas de Vecinos, Máximo de los Santos, solicitó del gobierno la construcción del sistema de alcantarillado, cuarteles policiales, transformadores eléctricos y otras.

En la actividad estuvieron presentes además, la gobernadora Martina Pepén Santana, los legisladores Francisco Solimán y Francisco Villegas; el senador Virgilio Cedano, el viceministro de Obras Públicas, Luís Bastardo, así como representantes de Salud Pública, Senasa, Inapa, Educación, de la Vivienda, Turismo y otros.
