FAPROUASD ampliará movimiento reivindicativo

Santo Domingo. La Federación de Asociaciones de Profesores de la UASD (FAPROUASD), en rueda de prensa, anunció que como respuesta a la negativa de las autoridades universitarias, a su justo reclamo de indexación de los viáticos, se propone ampliar el movimiento reivindicativo, integrando al conjunto de los organismos directivos y de base del gremio.

Declararon que se mantiene el paro total de docencia en los 19 recintos, centros y sub centros regionales. Que ya entró en la segunda semana.

De igual forma, la dirección de FAPROUASD ha convocado para este martes 25 de octubre la reunión del Consejo Superior de Directivas, con carácter ampliado a todos los directivos de las 26 asociaciones de facultades, recintos, centros regionales y de los jubilados.

¨Ahí nos proponemos ampliar las demandas, como es que se garantice la aplicación de la indexación del salario en un 15% pendiente, según el acuerdo firmado entre el MESCYT, en representación del gobierno, la rectoría y los gremios universitarios, en febrero del año 2021.¨, resaltó el maestro Pastor de la Rosa, presidente de FAPROUASD.

En ese sentido, adelantaron que en la sesión de este martes del Consejo Superior de Directivas ampliado, podría aprobarse la convocatoria de la Asamblea General de todo el profesorado, para aprobar un plan de lucha que involucre a todos los docentes.

Asimismo, el gremio universitario denunció el incumplimiento de la mayoría de los compromisos del acuerdo por parte del gobierno central, representado por el Ministro del MESCYT, doctor Franklin García Fermín.

Recordó que entre las reivindicaciones pactadas en ese entonces estaban un incremento salarial inicial de un 10% que fue aplicado a partir de febrero con fondos de la universidad, dejando pendiente un 30% de incremento, al cual el ministro Fermín, se comprometió a gestionar con el gobierno. Del cual solo se aplicó un 15% en enero 2022.

Insistieron en que a lo pendiente hay que agregar la inflación acumulada, que según las cifras conservadoras del propio Banco Central este año podría estar alrededor de un 9%.

Sigue sin aplicarse también la nivelación salarial de los docentes y empleados jubilados que cobran salarios míseros, que no les alcanzan ni para los medicamentos de los tratamientos que están obligados a llevar.

Recordaron al Gobierno y a los legisladores, que en estos momentos que  están definiendo el Presupuesto del año 2023, deben tener pendiente dar cumplimiento al compromiso de indexación salarial con los gremios de la UASD.

¨Desde este momento nos declaramos en movilización permanente hasta obtener un compromiso claro de las autoridades universitarias y del Presidente Luis Abinader de cumplir con lo pactado”, recalcaron.

Finalmente, llamaron a los profesores a estar atentos a los llamados de su gremio, cuya directiva estará en sesión permanente planificando y orientando.

Igualmente, dijeron que iniciarán un proceso de coordinación con los demás gremios universitarios y sindicatos del país que también sufre los efectos de la inflación.
