El Instituto Nacional de Aguas Potables y Alcantarillados (INAPA) manifestó este martes que agiliza los trabajos para restablecer el servicio de agua potable a los usuarios que se abastecen del Acueducto Múltiple del Suroeste (ASURO).
En ese sentido, el INAPA explicó, mediante una nota de prensa, que en la actualidad los técnicos del Departamento de Operaciones realizan un minucioso mantenimiento mecánico a los equipos, a fin de eficientizar el servicio en las demarcaciones afectadas.
La institución responsable del agua potable recordó que la situación de la alta turbidez del río Yaque del Sur que se había presentado, simultáneamente surgieron dificultades de mantenimiento y fallas mecánicas en algunos equipos, atendiéndose de manera inmediata.
El INAPA señaló que actualmente el servicio de agua potable se continúa brindando a las poblaciones afectadas con los equipos que están operando.
Finalmente, la institución indicó que los técnicos realizan las acciones necesarias para revisar, diagnosticar, reparar y dar mantenimiento a los equipos para que entren en funcionamiento de manera satisfactoria en el menor tiempo posible.
