Santo Domingo.- La Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Este (EDE Este), informó que dará mantenimiento y realizará trabajos de rehabilitación de redes este fin de semana en circuitos del Gran Santo Domingo, Boca Chica, Monte Plata, Hato Mayor y La Romana, para evitar averías y mejorar el servicio eléctrico.
La Dirección de Comunicación y Relaciones Públicas, explicó que esos trabajos se ejecutan los fines de semana para cumplir el compromiso con el Ministerio de Educación de mantener el suministro de electricidad de lunes a viernes, en horas de clases virtuales.
Sostuvo que para facilitar la ejecución de esas labores, el servicio será interrumpido este sábado de 8:20 de la mañana a 5:20 de la tarde en los sectores del Distrito Nacional: Guachupita, calle Francisco del Rosario Sánchez, La Ciénaga, Barrio 27 de Febrero (parcial), Los Guandules, María Auxiliadora (parcial).
