Anuncia inicio este lunes servicios de internamiento y quirófano hospital San Bartolomé en Neiba.
República Dominicana. – El director del Servicio Nacional de Salud (SNS), doctor Mario Lama, visitó durante este fin de semana cinco hospitales de la región Sur del país, como parte de la inspección que realiza a nivel nacional para identificar necesidades de los centros de salud y establecer mejoras que garanticen atención de calidad a los usuarios.
La Ruta Hospitalaria inició el sábado en la provincia Azua, donde supervisó los avances de la remodelación de la Emergencia del hospital Regional Taiwán que será puesta en funcionamiento en los próximos días, tal y como anunció el presidente Luis Abinader.
Posteriormente, el doctor Mario Lama se trasladó hasta Villa Jaragua en la provincia Bahoruco, para inspeccionar el hospital Alfredo Gil Rondón, cuya infraestructura en el área de Quirófano colapsó la semana pasada. Anunció que la infraestructura y los servicios serán intervenidos para ofrecer atención digna y de calidad a los munícipes.
Igualmente, visitó el hospital San Bartolomé en Neiba, donde constató que todo está listo para iniciar este lunes los servicios de internamiento y quirófano, tras ser instalada la cocina y los muebles de las habitaciones en este centro de salud.
Como parte de la Ruta Hospitalaria, el titular del SNS sostuvo un encuentro con el Consejo de Desarrollo del municipio Galván, para impulsar cambios y planes de mejora en el centro de salud de esa localidad.Con el objetivo de asegurar servicios de salud más asequibles, el doctor Mario Lama también supervisó y analizó las posibilidades de mejora de una estructura abandonada en el Distrito Municipal El Palmar, en Bahoruco, para que sus residentes empiecen a recibir servicios de salud.
El recorrido del director del SNS abarcó además la provincia San Juan, donde recorrió las instalaciones del hospital Regional Dr. Alejandro Cabral, para verificar su funcionamiento, además conversó con las autoridades de salud locales sobre los principales puntos que deben ser fortalecidos para generar el cambio anhelado en esa región.
Durante el recorrido, el doctor Mario Lama estuvo acompañado del ingeniero Alexander Ramírez, director de Infraestructura y Equipamientos del SNS.Consejo de Gobierno
