El Director Ejecutivo del Instituto Dominicano del Café (Indocafé), Leónidas Batista Díaz, recibió en su despacho la visita de cortesía del Embajador de Colombia en el país, Daniel Alberto Cabrales Castillo, quienes sostuvieron un conversatorio para estrechar vínculos de colaboración en el desarrollo del sector Cafetalero Nacional.
El motivo del encuentro es aunar lazos entre Colombia y el país aprovechando la experiencia colombiana en el manejo de la Roya y Broca y en la obtención de nuevas variedades resistentes a esta plaga y enfermedad.
El diplomático Colombiano se hizo acompañar de Nathalie Gómez Bossa y Nathalia Bolívar Pérez, asistentes del mismo quienes también trataron temas de interés tanto del país sudamericano como de República Dominicana.
De su parte el Director Ejecutivo de Indocafé, Leónidas Batista Díaz, se hizo acompañar de varios de sus colaboradores y expreso sentirse agradecido de la visita del Embajador Castillo a INDOCAFE y su deseo de colaboración hacia el rescate de la caficultura dominicana.
