Santo Domingo.- Con 299 entrevistados de 432 inscritos, la Comisión de Cámara de Cuentas de la Cámara de Diputados concluyó este martes la evaluación de aspirantes a integrar el órgano fiscalizador.
El presidente de la Comisión, diputado Rogelio Alfonso Genao Lanza, explicó que del total de inscritos 101 fueron excluidos por no cumplir los requisitos establecidos en la Ley 10-04 que regula la Cámara de Cuentas, y 32 renunciaron o no comparecieron a las entrevistas.
“Esta comisión se propone elaborar el informe y entregar al hemiciclo, antes de terminar este mes de febrero, 25 postulantes divididos en grupos de a cinco que luego serán enviados al Senado de la República, que escogerá de ahí a la nueva Cámara de Cuentas”, explicó el legislador.
Resaltó que entre los aspirantes hay talento suficiente para conformar un órgano fiscalizador robusto y que devuelva la credibilidad y fortaleza al mismo, cumpliendo lo establecido en la Ley 10-04.
En respuesta a preguntas periodísticas, dijo que tres de los actuales miembros de la Cámara de Cuentas se inscribieron, pero sólo uno se presentó a la entrevista.
El proceso de entrevistas inició el pasado primero de febrero y durante el mismo fueron evaluados 30 participantes por día, divididos entre 15 en horas de la mañana y 15 en la tanda vespertina.
