Diputada Lila Alburquerque cree existe un plan para desestabilizar la PN

SANTO DOMINGO.- La diputada Rafaela  Alburquerque (Lila) expreso no descarta que la existencia de un plan para tratar de desestabilizar a la Policía Nacional. La  legisladora del Partido Reformista Social Cristiano (PRSC) basó su opinión en los crecientes hechos de violencia y muertes de detenidos en destacamentos policiales.

Resaltó la posibilidad de que los hechos registrados recientemente a manos de agentes del orden sean gestados por estructuras internas del órgano.

Al referirse la convocatoria que hizo la Comisión Permanente de Interior y Policía de la Cámara de Diputados al director de la Policía, mayor general Alberto Then, dijo que no está por encima de la Constitución, por lo que debió acudir al llamado.

“El director del órgano policial no está por encima de lo que establece la Constitución y la facultad que esta otorga a los congresistas para interrogar a los funcionarios. El que no quiera ser interpelado que no sea funcionario”, dijo.

Indicó que es responsabilidad de cada funcionario público dar la cara por las acciones de las instituciones que dirigen, por lo que director General de la Policía Nacional, debe asistir a la reunión y dar respuestas sobre los casos de violencia que involucran a agentes de esa entidad.

Al conversar con periodistas a su salida del Congreso Nacional, la legisladora de San Pedro de Macorís manifestó que el convocado a la sesión fue el mayor general, no el ministro de Interior y Policía, Jesús Vásquez.

Manifestó que los niveles de delincuencia se han desproporcionado a tal punto de que en el municipio en que reside, San José de los Llanos, los asaltos están a la orden del día.
