Dawel Lugo con oportuno sencillo impulsa dos y Licey derrotó a los Gigantes

En la novena entrada un oportuno sencillo por el jardín central de Dawel Lugo provocó la anotación de dos carreras con las que el Licey dejó en el terreno a los Gigantes del Cibao con una pizarra de 3 carreras por 2, teniendo como escenario el Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal, de esta ciudad Capital.

Los felinos cerraban el noveno inning abajo en el marcador 1-2 y al box subió el cerrador estelar de los Potros, Ramón Ramírez, y en base estaban Michael De la Cruz (BB) y Yoel Yanqui (Infield-hit), cuando Lugo soltó el metrallazo que cambió el marcador 3-2.

Un triunfo de los azules que los pone con 7-8, en el segundo partido ganado en línea, empate con los Gigantes, que sucumbieron por segunda vez seguida, en el Torneo de Béisbol Otoño Invernal Dominicano dedicado a Don José Manuel Fernández in memoriam y Copa BHD-León.

Los francomacorisanos pisaron de primero la goma iniciando el partido con Jaime Barria en la loma de los sustos por el Licey, con dos dobles consecutivos, el primero de Ronald Guzmán por prado izquierdo y el segundo de Kelvin Gutiérrez por el bosque central que remolcó a Guzmán.

En la bajada de esa primera entrada, los Tigres empataron la pizarra 1-1 contra el abridor Raynel Espinal con un tubey impulsor de Sergio Alcántara por el RF para que anote Emilio Bonifacio, quien se embasó por base por bolas, se hurtó la intermedia y avanzó a la antesala por error del receptor Carlos Paulino.

En la parte alta del séptimo, los Gigantes tomaron el control 2-1, esta vez Keith Emanuel en el montículo por los bengalíes, un cuadrangular de Seuly Matías por encima del “Monstruo Verde” y sus 411.

El lanzador victorioso lo fue Hansel Robles (1-0) en una labor de relevista impecable sin libertades, y el revés recayó en Ramírez (1-2) con 0.2 episodios, dos hits, dos carreras limpias, dos transferencias y un ponche.
