Santo Domingo. 02-02-2021.- La Comisión Permanente de Salud Pública del Senado de la República acordó este martes rendir un informe favorable a la Resolución mediante la cual se solicita al Pleno Senatorial la conformación de una Comisión Especial para que investigue el estado actual y el monto contratado e invertido en la construcción del hospital provincial de Dajabón. 

«El informe lo vamos a presentar en la próxima sesión, porque se hace necesario esclarecer esa situación» dijo la senadora Lía Díaz Santana (Azua), presidenta de la Comisión. 

El considerando tercero de la resolución explica que en el informe de Ejecución Presupuestaria al mes de junio de 2020, indica que se ha desembolsado la suma RD$35,537,640.00, monto este que visualmente no se aprecia en los trabajos hasta ahora realizados. 

Esta iniciativa fue presentada por el senador David Sosa (Dajabón). 

Además de Díaz, también participaron en la reunión los senadores Dr. Bautista Antonio Rojas Gómez (Hermanas Mirabal); Franklin Peña (San Pedro de Macorís); Alexis Victoria (María Trinidad Sánchez); y Milcíades Franjul (Peravia).
