La visita fue pautada para el miércoles 28 de mayo del año en curso y será New York, el primer Estado norteamericano donde desarrollarán sus primeras actividades.
“La intención es colaborar con los dominicanos; que ellos se sientan apoyados y respaldados por el Congreso Nacional”, dijo el representante de Espaillat.
A su paso por los Estados Unidos, los legisladores también tienen previsto reunirse con autoridades de ese país y con representantes de los partidos políticos dominicanos.
“Haremos una acción de cohesión social, lo que sería la primera vez en la historia, que todos los dirigentes políticos dominicanos que viven en esa nación estarían sentados juntos”, expresó el senador Franklin Rodríguez (San Cristóbal).
La Comisión Permanente explicó que en el próximo encuentro establecerán la agenda definitiva que agotarán en los Estados Unidos de América.
