Comisión Bicameral continúa discusión sobre el Proyecto de Ley de Ordenamiento Territorial y Uso de Suelo

 Santo Domingo. 18-2-2021.- La Comisión Bicameral designada para el estudio del Proyecto de Ley Orgánica de Ordenamiento Territorial, uso de Suelo y Asentamiento Humano, que preside la senadora Faride Raful (Distrito Nacional), continuó este jueves con la lectura de los proyectos de Ley Orgánica de Ordenamiento Territorial, Uso de Suelo y Asentamiento Humano, presentado por el senador Félix Bautista (San Juan), expediente No.01296; y el Proyecto de Ley Orgánica de Ordenamiento territorial, uso de suelo y asentamientos humanos, presentando por el senador Ricardo de los Santo (Sánchez Ramírez), Expediente No. 00401.

“Hemos socializado que el proyecto de Ricardo de los Santos es una pieza sobre la cual se ha trabajado y se ha logrado un consenso en los últimos años, que se diferencia sustancialmente del proyecto del senador Félix Bautista, con el cual se trabajó con los sectores  involucrados (Ministerio de Economía Planificación y Desarrollo, Consejo Nacional de la Empresas Privada, sector minero y las asociaciones municipales), y por eso, tenemos la obligación de conocer la matriz de ambas piezas legislativas para estar más edificados de lo que se modificó en el proyecto original, y hacernos una conciencia crítica sobre los elementos que se han introducido en este proyecto de ley”, explicó la senadora Raful.

La Comisión recibió además la visita de Erick Torrejo, director  del Ministerio de Economía Planificación y Desarrollo, así como del urbanista Marcos Barinas.

La Comisión volverá a reunirse el próximo martes 23 de febrero y se acordó invitar al  Consejo Nacional de la Empresa Privada (CONEP).

Por el Senado de la República estuvieron presentes Faride Raful (Distrito Nacional), presidenta de la Comisión Bicameral; y el ingeniero Ramón Rogelio Genao Duran (La Vega).

Por la Cámara de Diputados asistieron Jorge Hugo Cavolli Balbuena, Carlos Higinio de Jesús Veras, Faustina Cabrera,  Eduviges María Bautista Gomera, Rafael Aníbal Díaz Rodríguez, Franklin Martínez, Luis Manuel Henríquez Beato, Sócrates Pérez Lorenzo, y José Horacio Rodríguez.
