ACACDISNA, expresa que ante la escalada alcista experimentada en productos de la Canasta Básica Familiar, debido a factores internacionales como el incremento de precios en materias primas fundamentales en la producción local de alimentos para animales (pollos, cerdos, huevos) y en la elaboración bienes industrializados como el pan, galletas, harina, aceites y pastas alimenticias (soya, maíz, sorgo y trigo), las autoridades deben tomar las medidas necesarias para abaratar el costo de los mismos
Ana vertilia Cabrera, presidenta de la Asociación de Comités de Amas de Casas, Consumidoras y Usuarias de Servicios, manifestó que además de los factores internacionales se han generado situaciones locales que inciden en los aumentos de precios en el mercado local como es el abandono de la producción agropecuaria, la especulación y la ambición desmedida de sectores empresariales y comerciales, por lo que considera que ha llegado el momento de una intervención drástica y efectiva de parte del gobierno.
En ese sentido la presidenta de ACACDISNA considera que para enfrentar y frenar las alzas que se generan de manera constante en bienes y servicios esenciales por lo que se requiere de una intervención efectiva en la producción y en la cadena de distribución que impida la especulación y el agiotismo, que garantice el abastecimiento.
En ese sentido y de acuerdo a la Ley 358-05 sobre protección de los derechos al consumidor que establece en sus considerandos: “Que es función del Estado proteger y garantizar efectiva y eficientemente el goce de las prerrogativas constitucionales, con el auxilio de medidas administrativas y disposiciones legales adecuadas”
Además “Que dentro de la política económica gubernamental se debe promover el crecimiento y desarrollo económico en un ambiente de libre competencia que facilite las condiciones para la formación de precios justos y estables que fortalezcan el poder adquisitivo de la población, especialmente el de los sectores más pobres y desprotegidos de la sociedad“
Por lo que nuestra organización propone al Excelentísimo Presidente de la Republica la creación de un Gabinete y/o Comisión de manera administrativa para el monitorear el comportamientos de los precios de los productos de la canasta básica, calidad y abastecimiento.
Acacdisna, sugiere que esta Comisión y/o Gabinete este integrada por el Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Mypimes, Pro-consumidor, Ministerio de Agricultura, Indocal, Inespre, así como representantes del Sector Empresarial, de los Comerciantes, Asociación de Amas de Casas y organizaciones de Consumidores y Usuarios de servicios.
La Asociación de Comités de Amas de casa Consumidoras y Usuarias de Servicios solicita a las autoridades proceder a congelar los precios de los productos de la canasta alimentaria familiar de mayor consumo como son: arroz, azúcar, habichuela, huevos, carne de pollo, chocolate, pan, leche, bacalao, salami, pastas alimenticias, el agua embotellada, productos de higienes personal y del hogar, las toallas sanitarias y el papel higiénico.
