El presidente electo Luis Abinader informó este lunes en su cuenta de Twitter que el economista y experimentado productor agrícola, Limber Cruz, será el nuevo ministro de Agricultura.

Es licenciado en Economía de la Pontifica Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, hizo una post grado de gerencia Internacional en México, pasantía profesional en el departamento de Estudios Económicos del Banco Central, laboró en el Centro Dominicano de Promoción de las Exportaciones, es cofundador, accionista y miembro del Consejo de Directores del Grupo M.
Cruz es al mismo tiempo un exitoso productor agrícola y ganadero de alta genética. Desde el Grupo M desarrolló el proyecto binacional de exportación Codevi,, ubicado en la franja fronteriza entre Dajabón y Juan Méndez, que en la actualidad provee unos 15 mil empleos directos.
Realizó un postgrado en Gerencia Internacional en la Ciudad de México, a cargo de la Organización de Estados Americanos y el Banco de México.
Según destaca un perfil enviado a los medios, debido a sus aportes al desarrollo económico y social de su provincia La Vega, y otras zonas de la región del Cibao, Limber Cruz ha recibido varios premios y reconocimientos, por su destacada labor y el desempeño de sus funciones.
