Policía Pensionados protestan frente al Palacio Nacional exigiendo pagos adeudados

Los alrededores del Palacio Nacional amanecieron este jueves rodeados por decenas de vallas metálicas y agentes de la Policía Nacional, ante una protesta de antiguos miembros de esta entidad quienes exigen el pago de pensiones.

Según Adriano Guerra, quien se denominó como “coordinador general de los pensionado de la Policía Nacional 2019”, unos 2,000 antiguos miembros de este cuerpo castrense tienen más de un año sin percibir su pensión.

“Estamos hoy acá porque estamos exigiendo un derecho constitucional. Fuimos pensionados a esa fecha y todavía no hemos percibido los derechos adquiridos o sueldo por un año y a Danilo lo que le queda son tres días y se va como si no existiera una pensión”, expresó.

Igualmente, Guerra dijo que a varios pensionados también les deben el dinero del “plan vivienda”, el cual indicó era otro descuento que les hacían mientras eran miembros activos de la policía para “entregarnos una vivienda”.

En lo que respecta al dinero, dijo que en una reunión con el director de la cooperativa de la Policía Nacional, este les dijo que “había dinero de sobra”, pero que presuntamente “hasta la fecha no aparece el dinero”.

A pesar de que el grupo de manifestantes están vestidos de civiles, el coordinador de estos dijo que cuenta con el apoyo de miembros activos de la Policía Nacional, agregando que algunos se encuentran allí.
