Durante la inauguración, la directiva de los Softbolistas Unidos reconoció a Frías Duarte, ejemplo de honradez, por su compromiso, dedicación e importantes aportes a la comunidad deportiva del sector de Cristo Rey, y al regidor Félix Perdomo, a quien ha catalogado como uno de los padres del deporte en el sector.
“En estos terrenos crecí y me hice mejor persona; recibo este reconocimiento con orgullo, sin embargo, considero que ustedes son los merecedores por mantenerse siempre haciendo deporte, trabajando para la juventud y poniendo nuestro sector en alto”, dijo Frías Duarte.
