El Ministerio de Salud Pública notificó este viernes 1,482 nuevos casos de COVID-19 y cuatro fallecimientos, elevando a 188,969 los contagiados y a 2,432 los muertos a causa de la enfermedad en el país desde marzo pasado.
En su boletín diario acerca de la evolución del coronavirus, Salud Pública reportó que los casos activos totalizan 45,606.
De los contagiados, 1,303 están hospitalizados, para una ocupación de camas de pacientes de coronavirus de 48 %, mientras que las unidades de cuidados intensivos (UCI) están al 60 %, con 317 camas ocupadas.
En tanto, el total de ventiladores en uso es de 165, para un 42 % de la disponibilidad.
La tasa de positividad diaria se ubicó en 24.04 %, la de letalidad en 1.29 % y la mortalidad es de 232.76 habitantes por millón.
En el último día se procesaron 10,456 muestras PCR, según el reporte de Salud Pública.
