Se registran 600 casos nuevos de coronavirus y 13 defunciones, de acuerdo con el boletín del Ministerio de Salud Pública con corte de ayer sábado a las 6:00 de la tarde.
Por tanto, el total de casos confirmados en el país se eleva a 91,161, de los cuales, 60,670 se han recuperado y 28,924 se mantienen como casos activos.
Sobre los casos activos, 7,337 están en aislamiento hospitalario y 21,587 en aislamiento domiciliario.
Por lugar de residencia, el 71.60 % (1,122) de los fallecidos corresponden a 12 municipios. Mientras que la mediana de edad de los muertos por COVID-19 es de 68 años. El 66.11 % (1,036) son hombres.
Las principales comorbilidades de los fallecidos son hipertensión arterial (33.06%) y diabetes (21.51%).
En tanto, hay 266 personas en unidades de cuidados intensivos (UCI), el 39.85 % en centros del Gran Santo Domingo, 32.71 % en Santiago y 12.41 % en Duarte.
