Secretario de Educación del PRM llama a la ADP a integrarse a la docencia presencial

Distrito Nacional. El secretario de Educación y Doctrina del Partido Revolucionario Moderno, Rafael Santos Badía, llama a un entendimiento entre el Ministerio de Educación y la Asociación Dominicana de Profesores para un retorno urgente a la docencia presencial.

Santos Badía entiende que la posición de los partidos políticos que no apoyan la vuelta a clases refleja la inmadurez política de la República Dominicana.

“No se puede afectar a los niños que asisten a las escuelas públicas, que son los que se están perjudicando en última instancia, de un conflicto que la sociedad no entiende”, expresó.

El profesor Rafael Santos Badía, quien fuera uno de los principales líderes de la ADP en los años 80 y 90, pidió la sensatez y el diálogo para propiciar el retorno, lo antes posible, a la presencialidad.

Consideró, además, que el Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD) debe reflexionar, cambiar su posición y apoyar la vuelta a la docencia porque, entiende, no hay un espacio más seguro para los niños y jóvenes que en las escuelas públicas.

«En reiteradas ocasiones el Ministerio de Educación, encabezado por el ministro Roberto Fulcal, ha manifestado su apertura al diálogo con la ADP y con todos los sectores vinculados al quehacer educativo, en aras de la armonía y de la transformación del sistema educativo dominicano», expresó Santos Badía. 

El dirigente perremeísta, dijo que la asociación que aglutina a los profesores, que siempre ha luchado por los mejores intereses de los educadores, en esta ocasión no tiene justificación para no involucrarse en una situación tan difícil como es la pandemia del Covid-19 y apoyar a la educación y a la sociedad.

Llamó a recordar las mejores tradiciones de ese gremio, cuando se trató de defender el interés nacional, como fue en el huracán David de 1979, en el Georges de 1998, y como ha sido en cada momento que la educación ha estado en primer lugar. 

«Todos debemos unirnos, para un retorno lo más exitoso posible, a la docencia presencial» expresó.
