Objetivo de Edesur en 2022 será reducir pérdidas y mejorar atención al cliente

La empresa Edesur Dominicana concentrará sus mayores esfuerzos en el año 2022 en la reducción de pérdidas, y en el fortalecimiento del servicio al cliente.

Así lo informó el director general, Milton Morrison, tras pasar balance al 2021 y evaluar las metas con miras al venidero al 2022, donde aseguró que la empresa continuará enarbolando la bandera de la transparencia y eficiencia. 

Dijo que, en este sentido, impulsa la creación de dos gerencias especializadas, una en atención de servicio al cliente, y otra en reducción de pérdidas, para atacar aún más el robo de la energía, que en este 2021 movió el desmantelamiento de 24,094 conexiones ilegales. Además, en 2022 Edesur Dominicana continuará convirtiendo en clientes a usuarios de la energía, que hoy no la pagan, para seguir atacando las pérdidas.

AvancesActualmente la calidad de la facturación en Edesur supera el 99%, y sólo el 0.76% del total de clientes de la empresa han sometido reclamaciones, lo que representa un avance significativo, en comparación con las 150,000 quejas y reclamaciones que encontró la actual administración.Además, todas las reconexiones luego del corte son atendidas en el plazo de la norma, y se registra un incremento en un 30% de la cantidad de clientes que reciben su factura por medios digitales.En Edesur el tiempo promedio de resolución de averías es de menos de 24 horas.

Ahorros significativos

Edesur Dominicana ahorró en 2021 unos RD$611,048,000 millones de pesos en recuperación de materiales, que en la anterior gestión fueron descartados como chatarra, pero que se encontraban en buen estado.

En un año y cuatro meses de gestión, la empresa superó sus finanzas en más de RD$2,000 millones, a pesar de la crisis provocada por la pandemia del covid-19, logrando un aumento de un 10% de la cartera de facturación de clientes. 

Otros logros en transparencia y calidad

Al pasar balance, Morrison resaltó que la distribuidora cierra el 2021 con importantes logros y avances en materia de transparencia y eficiencia, al convertirse en la primera entidad gubernamental en obtener una triple certificación internacional con la norma ISO en estándares de calidad, cumplimiento y antisoborno.

También dijo que a pesar de la incidencia de la pandemia del covid-19, y el reto de un año escolar virtual, Edesur mantuvo un nivel de abastecimiento de la demanda por encima de un 98 %, “algo sin precedentes en la empresa, permitió aumentar en un 10% nuestra cartera de facturación de clientes y reducir de manera significativa las pérdidas, indicó.En adición a esto, los actuales procesos de licitación son cada vez más abiertos y transparentes, donde se garantiza el derecho a la libre competencia, que anteriormente era violentado por empresas que suplían materiales de baja calidad. Esta medida ha permitido la compra de medidores a la tercera parte de lo que costaban antes. 

Otros planes para el 2022

Otras de las iniciativas se abocan a la obtención de una certificación internacional sobre medio ambiente, ya que la empresa ha dado grandes pasos en este sentido, a través de su amplio programa de sostenibilidad, que incluyen proyectos puntuales sobre movilidad eléctrica.También, la conversión de residuos obtenidos por la poda preventiva de árboles, que actualmente están siendo convertidos en abono, lo que hace de Edesur una institución socialmente responsable.

Ruta Edesur para romper la burocracia

Para el año 2022, la administración realizará una segunda versión de la ruta “Edesur en acción”, con el objetivo de constatar el cumplimiento y los resultados de los compromisos contraídos durante los encuentros realizados con comunitarios en todas las provincias concesionadas a la empresa. 

“La Ruta Edesur” impulsa el desarrollo de un modelo de gestión eficiente, participativo, transparente y cercano a los clientes, para romper la burocracia; y en la búsqueda de soluciones conjuntas.
