Santo Domingo–. El ministro Deligne Ascención afirmó, que el Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones (MOPC), mantiene en ejecución más de 600 proyectos que se llevan a cabo en todas las regiones del país.
El funcionario destacó, que para el próximo año 2023 se entregarán el 80 por ciento de los trabajos que se mantienen en realización.
Agregó que en el primer trimestre del año 2023, serán concluidas importantes obras a cargo del MOPC y que se encuentran diseminadas en todo el territorio nacional, considerando que los años 2021 y parte del 2022 fueron de “siembra de inicios de obras” para la institución.
El servidor público dio estas explicaciones, mientras participaba en la misa con motivo del 88 aniversario de la creación del MOPC, la cual fue oficiada por monseñor Ramón Benito Ángeles, en la Catedral de Santo Domingo, Primada de América, también conocida como Basílica Menor de Santa María de la Encarnación.
El programa incluyó también una ofrenda floral depositada en el Altar de la Patria, en memoria de los fundadores de la nacionalidad, Duarte, Sánchez y Mella.
En la celebración de la eucaristía, Ascencíon, aprovechó para agradecer a todos los hombres y mujeres que conforman el Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones, por estar siempre al servicio del pueblo dominicano.
«Los 88 años que hoy cumple de constituido como tal el ministerio de obras publicas y comunicaciones, es un motivo para agradecer al señor y acompañado por todos los colaboradores que de una manera u otra coadyuvan a que se pueda desarrollar la labor para la que está destinada este ministerio. Sin la colaboración sin la presencia y la entrega de ustedes no habría sido posible», manifestó el titular del MOPC.
De igual forma expresó, que no hay un lugar donde visite el presidente Luis Abinader, que Obras Públicas no esté entregando trabajos, y que se continuará esa misma dinámica. incrementando aún más en el 2023.
Agregó que se trabaja fuerte para entregar la circunvalación de Azua antes de que finalice el presente año, y otras obras de prioridad en las que se avanza, deberán estar concluidas en los primeros meses del año entrante.
A los actos conmemorativos asistieron: Por el MOPC, los viceministros, Luis Bastardo, de Coordinación Regional; Roberto Herrera, de Supervisión y Fiscalización; Ángel Tejeda, de Planificación y Regularización Técnica; Mélito Santana, de Mantenimiento Vial; Tomasina Pascual, de Edificaciones, así como Rafael Espinal, Jefe de Gabinete, y José del Carmen Montero y Nelson Colón, asesores.
Igualmente, Nelson Maloney, asesor del ministro; Alejandro Ramírez, director Administrativo y Financiero; Ana Cristina Ángeles, directora de Recursos Humanos; Lérida Tobal, directora de Libre Acceso a la Información; José Madé, director de Planificación y Desarrollo, José Cedeño, director de Parquéate-RD, entre otros colaboradores e invitados especiales.
