San José de Ocoa–. El presidente Luis Abinader, junto al ministro de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones, Deligne Ascención, dejaron iniciados los trabajos de construcción de la carretera Rancho Arriba- Nizao en la provincia San José de Ocoa.

El mandatario, al dirigirse a los presentes en la actividad que da inicio a la importante obra de infraestructura, expresó sentirse muy feliz al ver que se resuelven los problemas de la gente.

«Señores estoy muy contento en estos días en que se cambia la vida de la gente, en que se mejora la producción y mejorar la producción aquí en Ocoa, es mejorar la calidad de vida económica y social de la gente, es de los días que nos sentimos complacidos y orgullosos de ser el primer servidos de la patria», afirmó el presidente Abinader.

De su lado, el ministro Deligne Ascención, explicó que los trabajos de ejecución de la carretera, estuvieron paralizados por muchos años, y que esto ha sido un sueño esperado por las comunidades y agricultores de la zona, que es la de mayor productividad de vegetales de invernadero del país, ya que esta vía es la que conecta directamente a San José de Ocoa y otras localidades del Sur con la Autopista Duarte, facilitando en gran medida la movilidad del flujo de mercancías que se dirige al Cibao y otras regiones del país.
