Santo Domingo.- Este jueves 11 de agosto, a las 7 de la noche, el Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico Profesional (INFOTEP) lanzará el programa de capacitación y certificación de competencias a dominicanos en proceso de migración o residentes en el exterior, que se impartirá en 16 ciudades del mundo.

Con el programa se persigue desarrollar capacidades técnicas y brindar oportunidades de generación de empleos decentes para mejorar la calidad de vida de los participantes.

El plan, cuyo evento de lanzamiento se hará desde su edificio corporativo institucional, en el sector Miraflores, se realizará de manera simultánea en Estados Unidos, en las ciudades de Lawrence, New York, New Jersey, Tampa, Orlando y Miami. Lo mismo se hará en países como Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Bonaire, Aruba, Curazao, Antigua y Barbuda, Trinidad y Tobago, Uruguay, Chile y Panamá.

 Los participantes recibirán una certificación nacional e internacional en áreas profesionales altamente valoradas por su potencial en la colocación y autoempleo, en alianza con centros formativos en el exterior.

Habrá un lugar designado para acoger la presencia de participantes y autoridades en cada una de las ciudades donde se impartirá el programa. En Miami, Aruba, Curazao, Jamaica y Uruguay se celebrará el lanzamiento en los consulados y embajadas de la República Dominicana en las referidas ubicaciones.

En Lawrence será en Training School; en New Jersey en Bocaditos Bistro, en Puerto Rico en Casa Dominicana y en Tampa en el Instituto Politécnico de Tampa.
